Cristian Planas

Cristian Planas is a Ruby on Rails engineer obsessed with making large systems fast and reliable. At Zendesk, he worked on scaling challenges in production environments and later captured those lessons in his book Rails Scales! Practical Techniques for Performance and Growth. He now works at Combinaut and enjoys sharing practical, battle-tested approaches to performance, architecture, and multitenancy. When he’s not debugging distributed systems, he runs a science-fiction film festival in Barcelona.
