3-Day Nairobi, Maasai Culture & Lakes Safari Experience

Overview

This 3-day privately guided safari offers an exciting blend of urban wildlife, authentic Maasai culture, art, and lake adventures all based out of Nairobi. Each day brings something unique, from the plains of Nairobi National Park to exclusive boat safaris on Lake Nakuru and peaceful walking safaris by Lake Naivasha. You'll enjoy private transportation in a Luxury 4×4 Land Cruiser, expert guiding, and unforgettable activities, all carefully designed to maximise your time, comfort, and connection with nature.

Day 1: Nairobi National Park, Maasai Dance, Kitengela Glass, Giraffe Centre, Dinner & Cultural Show at Safari Park, With Nyama Choma Experience

Your adventure begins at 0630 AM with pick-up from your Nairobi hotel and a scenic morning game drive through Nairobi National Park, the only national park in the world within a capital city. You'll have a chance to spot lions, rhinos, giraffes, and more against the city skyline.

During your visit, enjoy a vibrant Maasai dance performance within the park, a colorful and energetic welcome to Kenyan culture.

After the game drive, you'll head to Kitengela Glass, a whimsical world of recycled glass art, mosaic walkways, and unique sculptures. You may cross the iconic hanging bridge or observe local artisans at work.

A lunch stop follows at a local restaurant (payable directly), before proceeding to the Giraffe Centre for a memorable encounter with endangered Rothschild giraffes.

In the evening, enjoy a lively and delicious dinner experience at Safari Park Hotel's Nyama Choma Ranch. Feast on grilled meats and African specialties while being entertained by live music and the famous Safari Cats cultural dance show – a high-energy performance featuring acrobatics, dance, and traditional rhythm. After the show, you'll be dropped off at your hotel by 1030 PM.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Exclusive Boat Safari – Return to Nairobi

Depart at 0630 AM for Lake Nakuru National Park, located in the stunning Great Rift Valley.

Upon arrival, board Seaduction, a premium photography boat for an exclusive guided boat safari on the lake from 1100 AM to 230 PM.

This luxury experience includes:

  • Lake Nakuru resident naturalist guide

After the cruise, enjoy a game drive en route out of the park, spotting flamingos, buffalo, or even white rhinos. You'll return to Nairobi in the early evening.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Walking Safari – Horseback Riding – Hell's Gate Tour

Today, you'll head to Lake Naivasha, beginning with a peaceful guided walking safari at Sanctuary Farm Conservancy. This is a relaxed experience where you walk safely among zebras, giraffes, and gazelles in a beautiful lakeside setting.

You'll then enjoy a horseback safari, suitable for all experience levels. After a short break, proceed to Hell's Gate National Park, where you may choose to explore the dramatic scenery by bike, on foot, or by vehicle with your guide.

A late lunch stop in Naivasha town (payable directly) is followed by your return to Nairobi for evening drop-off at your hotel.
